Zambezi Flood Plain: Mana Pools

This is a spot on the Zambezi River flood plain, looking east towards the other side of the valley, the escarpment which is sitting in Zambia. This image has remarkable clarity for a photograph taken in the late afternoon when, at this time of the year, the atmosphere is hazy from smoke.

  1. This photo is amazing. It looks more like a painting than a photo of a real landscape. It is truly breathtaking. I have been looking at many of your other photos and am amazed. Thanks for sharing.
